It's been just over a month since beloved '00s act Art Of Fighting announced their return after a 12 year break.

Today, theMusic.com.au is proud to premiere of the group's newest video, Your Love

"Your Love is about that feeling when what you fear the most in the world is the inability to contain and rationalise your love for someone," shares Art Of Fighting's Ollie Browne.

"How that makes all the other genuinely terrifying things in both the internal and external world seem completely insignificant. Vocally, we wanted to try and pay tribute to the flowing but plaintive singing style of '30s and '40s jazz, the shuffling around the rhythm, the soft yet quick rises and releases.

"We tried to do that with the instrumentation too, as if a bunch of '90s indie rockers tried to write a jazz standard and then bent it back around into an indie rock song again. It’s resulted in a song unlike anything we’ve ever really done before, but we think it still sounds like us."

"As a child I always covered my eyes when people kissed on TV, depriving myself of one of life’s only pleasures," says video director Geoffrey O'Connor

"This video is a way of making up for those wasted years. I also wanted depict a world in which romance is still alive and well, and sending actors engaging in PDA to a parallel universe seemed like a wonderful way to do that."

Art Of Fighting have shows scheduled in Sydney and Melbourne for next month, check out theGuide or scroll down for all the info on dates and tickets.
