Sydney group Inklines are back with a new single today, premiering exclusively with The Music.

Dubbed Blossom, the track is the first taste of new music from the group, following on from the release of their Book Club EP late last year.

Inklines have again worked with producer Lachlan West (The Griswolds, Walk The Moon), heading to regional New South Wales to lay down the tracks.

"We recorded these new tracks at Pelican Homestead in Tirrannaville, once again with Lachlan West at the controls," the band told The Music

"We did all our previous recordings in various studios and we decided it would be fun to change it up a bit this time – so at Lachy’s suggestion, we rented out a house just outside of Goulbourn and bunkered down for three days, recording in the upper floor of the house.

"It definitely creates a different kind of vibe when we were all just there with everything set up – remaining entrenched in the creation process over the whole weekend, without having to do any extra set up or pack down allowed us more time and space to just dig deep with every aspect of it.

"It was a really nice change of scene – not that we don’t like working in studios at all!"
