More False London More False London

Sydney alt-rock quartet False London have shared their brand new single Flames - premiering right here at The Music.

A band that formed last year during the pandemic and lockdowns, the group came together as a way to get out the pent up creativity that was sitting untapped inside.

"Flames, ironically was the last song written but the first song we nailed during recording," the band said of the track.

"It just all came together so well, which is quite refreshing when you’re constantly over thinking every little detail. Brent [vocalist Brent Martin] brought an acoustic version of Flames to recording just to beef up our options - and luckily he did because Flames was the first song we worked on and recorded.

"It was a real blessing to be able to set the tone early on, allowing us to confidently and naturally work our way through the other tracks we were looking to put down for our debut EP."

False London are set to drop their debut EP later this year. In the meantime, listen to Flames above.
