Single title? Everstone

What's the song about? Everstone is a song about growth and change intertwined with past relationships, showcased by punching melodies and driving bass guitar.

How long did it take to write/record? We spent about a week down with Sonny Truelove at his studios and recorded the whole EP. It took us ten days.

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? Everstone is good starting point for the rest of our next release Love. Love is a six-track EP where we did everything we wanted to do and weren't worried about our past material.

What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? We share writing duties. Liam [Holmes] writes about his battle with depression and how it affects his life. It all centres around love: having it, not having it, romantic and platonic, all the good and bad.

We'll like this song if we like... Our EP takes in a few influences. There's some Coldplay, Taking Back Sunday, and we channel some Death Cab For Cutie.

Do you play it differently live? Not so much, but we do put a lot of work into our live show. For us, it's about getting as much emotion into our performance as possible.

When and where is your launch/next gig? We're launching our single Everstone alongside Grim Indiana, who are launching their single Slowburn, with a show on Sunday 24 Jul at The Bald Faced Stag.
