Best record you stole from your folks' collection? Cake's Prolonging The Magic. Pulled from my dad's CD collection, it's one of my all time favourites.

First record you bought? The first CD I bought with my own money was Good Charlotte's The Young & The Hopeless.

Record you put on when you're really miserable? Deerhunter's Halcyon Digest is good for a sit-in-your-room-alone-in-the-dark type sadness. It's very nostalgic to me. Yesterday I was having a bad day and listened to Sumac's What One Becomes. Turned my mood right the fuck around.

Record you put on when you bring someone home? Built To Spill's Perfect From Now On OR Nick Cave's Push The Sky Away.

Most surprising record in your collection? My album of the year is probably The Life Of Pablo, is that surprising? Of course not, it's so good.

Last thing you bought/downloaded? These Arms Are Snakes were recommended to me by Zaire [Kesha] from Heads Of Charm and I'm loving them right now.

When and where are your next gigs? 9 Sep, Badlands.
