Tell us your best BBQ-related memory: With our frontman Nick being a Texan and a keen BBQ-er himself, we recently had a real band-bonding session. Euphemisms abounded. If a band doesn't break up after stuffing 300 Texas-style hot links together, they can take on the world.

If you had to use one BBQ/meat-based dish as an analogy for your music, what would it be and why? A thin piece of steak. It cooks so fast that the cooking is over before you know it. Our songs are so fast and have so many notes that they finish before people realise they have started.

Will you ask for meat instead of booze on your rider? 24 pack of brisket, 3 x 700ml bottles of animal fat, 4 x large pieces of tripe, a dozen steaks, 400 pork sausages, (if no pork sausages, substitute for 800 beef snags).
