Hockey Dad At SXSW Pt. 2: Death Metal Pizza & Free Kegs

SXSW - DAY ONE

Our first show of four we had lined up for the first day of SXSW, surprisingly made it to all of them without being late.

Three things you need in your life... death metal, pizza and Texas.

Just as we finished this set, we were scheduled to be playing in 20 minutes all the way over the other side of town... somehow made it on time.

Texas is full of old shit, and it's epic.

Catching up with Lio from Kanine Records, our very own American Dad. Needless to say, there were plenty of beers thrown down that night.

SXSW - DAY TWO

Rocked up to our house party gig with free beer from kegs upon arrival, epic bands and the best stage we've ever seen. I really wish we didn't leave the board back at the hotel.

Just a few of the super troopers who decided to rock up for a few beers on their smoko. They brought a Spanish news team along with them to document the inspection... felt like we were on an episode of To Catch A Predator.

We were told to move inside from the halfpipe, so we plugged in and had a dig in the garage.
