When did you start making music and why? I penned my first song at the age of 12 years old, which led to the realisation of my passion for singing and songwriting. Because I love being on stage and expressing myself.

Sum up your musical sound in four words? Queensland girl rocking country!

If you could support any band in the world  - past or present - who would it be? I would have to say I would love to support Alannah Myles, I believe she is the original rock chick.

If you could only listen to one album forevermore, what would it be and why? Dixie Chicks – Taking The Long Way. This album tells an amazing story of what happened with their political comment and how they adapted it to life.

Greatest rock’n’roll moment of your career to date? I played Jupiters Casino Townsville and the group of girls listening in front knew every single word to my song Mess With a Girl Like Me. They sang along to every word and later asked for a signature.

Why should people come and see your band? The show is energetic and edgy. The perfect mix of girl-next-door and rock chick. Dynamic, authentic and fun.

When and where for your next gig? Campfire Festival, Hope Estate Winery, 13 Mar.
