LCD Soundsystem at This Ain't No Picnic festival

My all-time favourite show moment was when I was in Los Angeles in August; I was at a festival called This Ain't No Picnic. I had only heard a few LCD Soundsystem songs over the years but never really thought much of it until I watched them play. I danced and cried and facetimed my best friend, and for an hour, my depression was cured. I now have two LCD Soundsystem tattoos. I had never felt so free; I can't explain it.

Amyl And The Sniffers at The Croxton Bandroom

I love Amyl And The Sniffers so much; they're my favourite band, and I am their biggest supporter. I could never crowd surf because I'm too much of a coward, but I watched them play a sold-out Croxton Bandroom a few years ago, and I saw Amy fearlessly flip herself onto the crowd, which looked so funny and so amazing; the crowd was hers. I love seeing a powerful woman own a room.

Camp Cope at the Sydney Opera House

Camp Cope played Sydney Opera House in 2018, and my 80-year-old Greek immigrant grandparents were both there having the best time. It made the show extra special for me. They had booked plane tickets and a hotel online, which was a very big deal to them. My yiayia doesn't know how to use a computer, and my papou still types with two fingers and prints out directions to where he's going. They had seen Camp Cope play a few times, but this time felt extra special because the Opera House is such an iconic venue.

Ricky Martin

I saw Ricky Martin play when I was five years old at a very loud arena show with my mum; I fell asleep in my seat. I remember this because I got made fun of for it for years to come. I honestly don't know how I managed to fall asleep at an arena concert, but I surprised myself. I can sleep almost anywhere.

Georgia Maq at the Ragtime Piano Bar

I played recently at the Ragtime Piano Bar in Preston; it's a tiny bar with a spinning grand piano in the centre of it; I freaked out when it started spinning mid-song, it was an iconic moment, and I had to stop and compose myself. My family was there and some of my friends, which felt very intimate and very special. Also, I covered All My Friends by LCD Soundsystem, and everyone sang along, and it was a very beautiful moment.
