"Partying harder = helping more!"

Who/what is the benefit for? Scarf Community. We're donating $1 from each drink sold to assist refugees, asylum seekers and new migrants in hospitality training.

Why do they need help? Scarf knew heaps of young marginalised youth hungry for hospitality jobs but facing barriers to get them. Scarf brings them together with mentors keen to share knowledge and networks and acquire skills, confidence and connections.

What's the current situation like?: Since 2010 Scarf have tonnes of success getting youth busy in the industry through their Scarf Dinners, real-time hands-on experience for their clients. This year sees their #DoMoreThanDrink campaign help support these efforts.

Who else is helping on the night? The B.East's MASSIVE Xmas Party Bash will host Melbourne funk, rock and soul legends The Sugarcanes and The PutBacks. Sailor Jerry will keep us in cheap booze and The B.East will provide juicy-good Xmas burgers. Partying harder = helping more!

When and where can we help out? Party kicks off from 7pm, 19 Dec at The B.East with DJ Fairbanks Robinson followed by The Sugarcanes and The Putbacks.
