Five Things You Didn't Know About Bluesfest's Joe Bonamassa

In the lead up to the Byron Bay Bluesfest we spoke to some of the 200 artists who will be performing over the five day festival, which kicks off on 24 Mar. We found out five fun and wacky things about Joe Bonamassa:

1. He played on an Ozzy Osbourne track.
2. He once auditioned for the band UFO. 
3. Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown once called Joe fat and white, he then pulled out what appeared to be a pistol and pulled the trigger and lit his cigarette. 
4. He opened up for Yngwie Malmsteen and Ronnie James Dio on the same night.  
5. He once sold his car to buy a Fender telecaster.
