"Maybe watching Tom Morello play a guitar solo with his teeth side of stage."

Which festivals can we find you at? Queenscliff Music Festival and Woodford Folk Festival.

Sum up in five words your typical festival season experience. Forgot my toothbrush, again. Shit.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen at a festival? People buying CDs! It's the weirdest thing. Who even has a CD player anymore? But people buy our CDs at festivals after we play and I ain't complaining one bit.

Name your top five essentials you can’t live without while on the festival circuit? Bandmates. Instruments. Voice. Arms. Legs.

What’s been your favourite backstage moment during a festival? Maybe watching Tom Morello play a guitar solo with his teeth side of stage at The Ottowa Folk Festival in Canada.

What are your festivalgoer pet peeves, the things you wish people wouldn’t do at a fest? Be taller than me, it makes seeing things hard.

Three songs that are on your festival pump up playlist? Join In The Chorus (North Melbourne theme song), to get fired up. Too Many Dicks On The Dance Floor - FOTC, for obvious reasons. I'd Rather Have a Bottle In Front Of Me (Than a Frontal Lobotomy) - Dr Randy Hanzlick. Purely for its title.

Aussie weather can be a hectic force come festival season. So, if you had to choose: mud pit or dust bowl? Mud pit - much less sneezing. Although I have played at a mud pit festival and that was pretty grim all 'round.

Which acts are you most excited to catch during your festival season? Oh Pep!, Vika & Linda, This Way North, Tripod, The Whitlams, Courtney Barnett, Ali Barter, Al Parkinson.
