Following an enthusiastically received crowdfunding campaign, West Australian punk three-piece Axe Girl are gearing up for the release of their self-titled debut album, and theMusic.com.au is privileged to bring you this exclusive full stream of the eagerly awaited new work.

The band, which is comprised of frontwoman Addison Axe alongside Jebediah mainstays Brett Mitchell and Vanessa Thornton, conscripted the services of legendary Perth producer Dave Parkin to help bring the album to life, his experienced hand guiding the trio in crafting their infectious, unignorable punk-rock-pop cuts, typified by the utterly anthemic strains of Give Me Your Teeshirt.

Their relatively short time together has yielded wide acclaim to date, with Axe Girl having already graced festival stages at events such as Astor Rocks, Hidden Treasures, WAMi, SOTA, SxS Wilson, and WA Pride, as well as providing more than capable support for Spiderbait, Meat Puppets, 28 Days, The Bennies, Dallas Frasca, Felicity Groom and The Love Junkies.

To celebrate the release, Axe Girl are heading out on an album launch tour, kicking off at Frankie's Pizza, in Sydney, on Wednesday, November 12, and including further stops in Canberra, Bendigo, Footscray, South Yarra, Newcastle, Adelaide, Fremantle and Perth.
