Ball Park Music Tour Diary: Part Four

Ball Park Music introduce us to some easy-to-learn road trip games, including as 'Hey Cow' and 'Throw Rocks At Shit'.

Last time we were in this dressing room was with Boy and Bear back in 2012 and we had to leave after our set for a red-eye flight, which was rubbish. This time we got to enjoy it and its funky lights and couch wall (I used to have a couch wall at my house, it was awesome). I think my favourite part is the chequerboard bathroom tiles.

In WA we did a large amount of driving - Perth down to Albany back up to Bunbury and then to Fremantle. It's pretty cool to look out the window and see the baron WA landscape - for about 20 minutes, then it just becomes a little less interesting. To interest yourself you can play 'Hey Cow', a game where you yell out the window and try and grab the attention of livestock.

Another game we like to play on the road is 'Throw Rocks At Shit', which is where you stop on the side of the road and then throw some rocks at shit. It is also good for the body to sit static for 3 hours and then jump out and start throwing rocks very far and stretching out all your muscles. The back pain you experience later is most likely good for you.

I felt like taking a picture of my mate on our WA holiday. Our tour manager Jeff had just slipped over on a pile of red dirt when I took this photo, hence all the authentic smiles and laughter. What a good bunch of blokes.
