SINGLE PREMIERE: McDermott & North - 'Georgia'

Australian duo McDermott & North are sharing their "most galvanised release to date", Georgia, which is premiering on theMusic.com.au today!

Following on from the February-released Ally, the new single from Brisbane's Rhys North and Patrick McDermott blends their pop, indie and roots influences.

“I believe it's our most established record, I feel as though we have found our sound with drums, after a long time of not knowing how to fit drums in with our music," North told The Music.

"I remember Paddy bringing the majority of the song to a writing session, he had most of it done - we just polished off the end of chorus together and worked out the harmonies."

McDermott & North will launch Georgia with a hometown show at The Brightside on 1 May.
