Album title? Restless

Where did the title of your new album come from? I think Restless is a good word to describe the work ethic of the band. We are always busy doing something. It also ties in nicely with our previous album, Lawless.

How many releases do you have now? Restless is our second full-length album. We previously have released two studio EPs and two live recorded EPs.

How long did it take to write/record? We recorded the bulk of it in one week. The songs were a combination of new and old ones which we workshopped over about six months to get right for the album.

Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? Restless was recorded in a church in the Hills. We lived there for a week and were able to record at any hour. The freedom that we had was the biggest inspiration on the album.

What's your favourite song on it? At the moment it is Blood And Gold. It has a good combination of subtlety and energy.

Will you do anything differently next time? We loved the whole recording process. Hopefully we can do more collaborative writing in the lead-up to the next release.

When and where is your launch/next gig? 2 Mar, Brisbane Folk Club, The Foundry; 3 Mar, Solbar, Maroochydore; 5 Mar, Irish Club Hotel, Toowoomba; 6 Mar, Yacht Club Hotel, Mooloolaba.
