Album title? Shake The Breakdown

Where did the title of your new album come from? It is the title of one of the first songs we wrote together. We demoed it ages ago and decided to give it a better crack in the studio. It's about shaking off your worries.

How many releases do you have now? We have three. An EP called Bottle Bin and two full length albums, Cock Rockin and now Shake The Breakdown.

How long did it take to write/record? It started in 2013 when we played SXSW. We had four days then and finished it off at the end of 2014. All up, about four weeks in the studio over a bloody long time.

Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? The music scene in Austin was pretty inspirational. It was easy to get caught up in all that sweaty rockin' Texan BBQ vibe. I think some of that shows on the album.

What's your favourite song on it? I keep coming back to the title track Shake The Breakdown. It's simple rockin' stupid bashed on a bottle bin.

Will you do anything differently next time? Less time between drinks. To record in one session next time. Stopping and starting is always tough when you are gaining momentum.

When and where is your launch/next gig? 14 Nov, Vic On The Park.
