Short description of your band and your music:
Battleships' music tips it hat to the differing influences of the band's individual members, blending indie rock sensibilities with the aesthetics of post-Britpop, to create a sound entirely their own. The four-piece set out to create music that they enjoy playing, something that they themselves would listen to... and hopefully, something that you would listen to too.  

What are you hoping to achieve from showcasing at BIGSOUND? 
BIGSOUND is a great opportunity to get our music out there further to as many people that will listen.

Why should people come and see you from amongst the myriad bands at BIGSOUND?
Because we play honest, evocative music with a lot of heart.
