"This pays my rent, this allows me to do the things I want to do, so I do feel very lucky. It's all about reminding myself of that." -Andrew Fisher.
Another day, another comeback record.
Having taken a break after releasing their 2012 full length, Colourmeinkindness, Basement returned this year with the announcement of a tour and a new 7-inch, Further Sky. During their recent visit to Australia, Killyourstereo.com caught up with guitarist Alex Henery and drummer James Fisher to discuss good food, the hiatus, and the band's future plans.
A very impressive way for Basement to make their exit.
Bound to be one of the best albums released this year.
Two more reasons you should be listening to Basement.
Hailing from Ipswich/Nottingham in the United Kingdom, Basement have released one of my favourite records so far in 2010 in their debut 7" "Songs About The Weather", and the band has no plans on slowing down anytime soon. The band's vocalist Andrew took the time to answer a few questions for us.
The weather must have been fantastic.
