"I don't know if many bands get to play for ten years, let alone play a record that came out ten years ago. It’s a privileged opportunity that isn't lost on me.”
A historic moment for the Australian metalcore scene.
Could it really happen?
With very special guests Stray From The Path, The Gloom In The Corner and Diamond Construct!
In Hearts Wake rolled out a triumphant and powerful run of screenings of their documentary Green Is The New Black across the globe for Earth Week 2022 and nabbed a recent nomination for an Environmental Music Prize. “After not being able to tour properly for the past two years, it is our great pleasure to announce this huge national run of shows and return to towns that we love. We are also excited to take this new touring model out on the road and keep learning along the way. We cannot wait to celebrate Green Is The New Black with you!”
"As someone who worked at a Palace Cinema for 8 years, to now put it at all the Palace Cinemas around the country is really cool. It just makes it much more of an experience rather than just absorbing content. I think that's been lost on a lot of films and amazing art pieces - but to be in a cinema with a group of people from the community that we all share and love, that to me is taking our art to a new stage and I am excited for people to experience that" - Jake Taylor
This festival was our first post-pandemic lifeline for a stacked all Aussie heavy lineup for 2021. Challenges with rising covid cases, border closures, & state by state restrictions took Full Tilt away from all cities in 2021. Finally, the first date went ahead in Melbourne on the weekend & hot damn it felt good!!
“When we first started this band, we just wanted to tour the world and play music, but the further we travelled the more it hit home. We were unintentionally endangering our own future. The world we knew was changing fast and we realised we had to change with it.”
Smouldering embers and ash.
Boy, this sure is In Hearts Wake.
IHW dug up far too many a diamond last year.
