A dismal but memorable tombstone

More Nachtmystium More Nachtmystium

One year after Nachtmystium’s demise, The World We Left Behind lands in a knotted mass of frustration, bile and yearning. Infamous for sailing close to their wind by slipping eclectic elements into black metal, the biggest shock – besides some slippery violins and unwise warbly female vocals – is the seemingly deeply personal lyrics to Voyager, which could equally apply to mainman Blake Judd’s career struggles or addiction. A dismal but memorable tombstone; Judd’s Hate Meditation project has big shoes to fill.
