"About as gnarly, nasty and vicious as punk music gets without straying into hardcore territory."

More A Ghost Orchestra More A Ghost Orchestra

This Radelaide four-piece play punk music, and it's about as gnarly, nasty and vicious as punk music gets without straying into hardcore territory.

They know how to slam a little variety and dynamic into their sound as well, which is great to hear. For example, Panspermia is an almost experimental five-and-a-half-minute instrumental piece; Evacuate, No Farewell takes a bizarre twist to the left for its softer but unnervingly discordant outro; and Lovers Of Valdaro throws an ambient curveball, replete with extraordinarily unexpected female vocals coming at you about a third of the way in.

Blood is a work of twisted, razor-sharp, pissed-off beauty.
