Otep announce Australian tour

American alternative metal band Otep are heading to Australia for a series of shows in April next year.

The Los Angeles outfit will take to the stage in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, showcasing their eclectic mix of nu metal grooves and frontwoman Otep Shamaya's diverse vocal range.

Forming in 2000, Otep have gone on to release five studio albums, the latest being 2011’s Atavist. They’ve received praise from Sharon Osbourne, played Ozzfest several times and have shared the stage with the likes of Five Finger Death Punch and Shadows Fall among others.

Otep will release their 6th album, Hydra, in January 2013.

Tickets on sale 9am, Thursday, November 29.
