In Fiction Call it a Day

As many of you have noticed, things have been a little quiet on the in fiction front for the past few months. For those wondering the reason for this, here is our story:

In Fiction has been an incredible experience to date. We've been so fortunate to travel the country many times over and form life-long friendships - all while doing what we love most; writing, recording and playing music. After working on the band intensely with touring, writing, recording, organising & practising for a long time (in particular the last 2 years), we reached a point where we were no longer enjoying working at the band full-time.

Our lives outside the band (which were virtually non-existent for the last few years) needed attention more so than continued work on the band, which was what prompted this hiatus. We have stopped touring indefinitely, but continuing to play occasional shows here in Adelaide. We've taken this opportunity to finally find some good jobs, return to study and prepare for married life! We have all been continuing music in some way or another - keep your eyes and ears out for some new projects to be announced soon.

Thankyou so much to everyone who has supporte us over the years, and particularly those who continue to support us now during this transitional period.

Our next show will be on December 20 at Fowlers Live - more details to be announced on that soon. We hope to see you all there.
