Rise Against Announce 2018 Australian Tour, SWMRS To Support

Come on, we all knew this tour announcement was coming!

Almost exactly a month on from the release of their latest album, 'Wolves', Rise Against have announced their next returning trip Down Under. This time, they'll be touching down in Australia and New Zealand in February 2018 with California's loud and catchy rock n' rollers, SWMRS (formerly known as Emily's Army) who'll be bringing out the noisy cuts from their 2016 LP, 'Drive North', which is out now via Fueled By Ramen.

You can read my recent review of Rise Against's 'Wolves' right over here. Spoiler warning, it's not very good - the album that is, not my review. And look, while I may not be that sold on their eighth record, Rise Against always put on a damn solid live show, merging the old songs and new material for a well-balanced set with tight performances. After all, the last time Rise Against toured Australia was in December 2015 for 2014's so-so 'The Black Market' and their Margaret Court Arena show in Melbourne with Outright HC and Clowns was an utter time and a half!

So, I can only assume that these 2018 dates will be just as fun too. Save the dates and get 'em while they're hot, folks.
