Diving back to their first two records, Ohio's Hawthorne Heights will be playing their debut album 'The Silence In Black And White' and their sophomore 'If Only You Were Lonely' when they touch down in Australia this September for their latest stint around the nation.

Acting as this tour's international support will be the acoustic stylings of River Oaks AKA Shane Told of Silverstein, playing material from both Silverstein as well his new solo work under this one-man side-project. On the homegrown front, Sydney's Sienna Skies will be filling out the heavier side of the tour's spectrum with material from last year's solid 'A Darker Shade Of Truth'. Finally, Mark Rose (the frontman of since disbanded Chicago-based band, Spitalfield) will also be providing some retro post-hardcore songs as the opening act for this tour.

Due to the nature of this tour, it means that anything including 2008's 'Fragile Futures' and onwards won't be getting a look in, instead they'll be taking a back seat to classic tracks like 'Ohio Is For Lovers', 'Niki FM', 'Silver Bullet', 'Saying Sorry', and 'Where Can I Stab Myself in the Ears?'. As many fans will note, the group's first two albums featured the band's rhythm guitarist and screamer, Casey Calvert, who sadly passed away in 2007 while on tour. However, over the years his influence, impact and memory live on through these two respective fan-favourite records and how they resonated with fans.

Also on the record front, Hawthorne Heights have been reportedly working on a new record, set for release later this year and just three weeks ago, a new single arrived in the form of 'Push Me Away'. But considering what songs the band will be playing on this September tour, we think that the below tune (you know what it is already) is more than fitting!
