Angels & Airwaves announce new album, animated short film

Popular US outfit Angels & Airwaves have announced their new studio album, with the band to simultaneously release an animated short film to coincide.

‘The Dream Walker’ – a follow-up to 2011’s ‘Love: Part Two’ – will see a digital release this December along with ‘Poet Anderson: The Dream Walker’.

Written and recorded by Angels & Airwaves frontman Tom DeLonge along with Ilan Rubin (known for his work with Nine Inch Nails), the record is due for independent distribution.

“I think we needed something that would turn heads and ignite a fan base of post-hardcore-punk-rock kids that might still be lingering there from my earlier years,” DeLonge says.

‘The Dream Walker’ is due out December 9.
