Tyson Stevens, the vocalist for now disbanded post hardcore group, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, has reportedly been found dead today.

Tyson Stevens, the vocalist for now disbanded post-hardcore group, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, has passed away.

The band formed in 2002, and after one EP, and two full-lengths, they called it quits in 2009. The band made two tours out here, one for Soundwave (2008), and a farewell headline tour the following year. Stevens was only 29.

Salvatore Mignano, the vocalist for The Sleeping, posted this on his own blog today about the singer's passing.

"I just found out some very sad news that an old tour friend Tyson Stevens passed away last night in his sleep. I meet Tyson when The Sleeping did the last Scary Kids Scaring Kids tour and everyday on that tour was an awesome time. It ended up being one of those tours that I'll never forget. Everyday we all hung out and partied like one big traveling family. It's sad that the world lost a talented and great man like him. He will be missed. RIP Tyson".
