How hopeless is that pastor, when he gets even slightly challenged he has nothing to fall back on, no argument, he can barely string a sentence together “I just believe in what the bible says”, you stupid cunt.

Hahahaha as if you’d be so blindly religious in 2013, sit down you idiot.

Quoting a translated 2 thousand year old book and taking it literally.

I read that that pastor has been divorced, remarried, and has a kid from his first marriage. Classic religious fool

Carol and I were married on May 17, 2003. I have three children: Lydia, Joshua and Grace. Lydia is from my first marriage and lives with her mum on the south side of Brisbane. She stays with us every second weekend, and most school holidays.

Through my very limited knowledge of the bible, isnt it an abomination to remarry after you divorce?

Honestly, Mr Rudd put it so freakin’ simply that I really can’t think of a better way of explaining it, and that surprises me a lot. He even addressed his to-ing and fro-ing on the matter, an admission of simply being human. At the end of the day, I feel like a lot of opposition to marriage equality comes from misunderstanding. Or, selective misunderstanding. He is 100% correct; if it follows that the core of Christianity is universal love for all human-kind, then it goes without saying that all people should be treated equally in the eyes of the law and the marriage act should be changed to reflect the world we live in.

However, I would like to see this attitude be carried through to foreign policy and immigration before I jump on board completely. Hands down, has my support over Liberal, but he’s put forth a very strong opinion here that needs to be backed up more wholly.

I wonder, as a Christian, why Mr Rudd thinks Jesus would say about his bullshit policy on asylum seekers.

If you guys got a free ice cream you’d complain it was vanilla and not chocolate.
